I guess im pumped up about our chances to win the super bowl this year but this game is gona be a shootout its going to be at home in the heat but its still gona be a shootout with Bledsoe on the buffalo side. Does anyone agree that if buffalo makes it to the AFC championship Bledsoe should be MVP this year?

LMAO....please, Buffalo to the AFC Championship??

What kind of dope are you smoking??

And no, it is not going to be a shootout because Ray Lucas is going to be your QB for the next couple of weeks (I don't think it would be a shootout if Fiedler played because the Dolphins D is not going to allow Buffalo to march up and down the field).

    bills in the AFC championship?

    This is 2002, not 1992.

with the broncos, dolphins, raiders, colts, and even the chargers in their way, i highly doubt that.

Lucas has a better arm than Fiedler.

Ray Lucas Isn't a bad QB, But The Defense will really have set the tone.

December 15th EL, Oakland at Miami, I can't wait to see Charlie Garner rip your precious defense to shreds.

Garner? haha theres no way in the world that Charlie Garner will destroy us i will give him maybe 60yards our run defense is just too dam good. Taylor will be this years MVP if he keeps it up, and Ricky will run right through your wall. And i feel really bad for your old receivers when they match up against Madison and Sur-tan .. but you never know its gonna be a fun game most likely like last years debacle of the Raiders when Fiedler juked Armstrong the guy you stole from us.

I guess well see how good Ray Lucas is...........maybe we could get Dan to suit up for a few games

Dolphins quarterback Jay Fiedler, who broke his right thumb late in Sunday night's game against the Denver Broncos but still managed to engineer the game-winning drive, will miss a minumum of two weeks.

A Dolphins spokesman said there was no immediate estimation how long Fiedler would be out, but, according to an NFL source close to the situation, he will miss Sunday's home game against Buffalo.

With the Dolphins (5-1) having a bye the following week, the team is hoping he will be ready to return for the Monday night game at Green Bay on Nov. 4.

Ray Lucas, who was 6-3 as a starter for the Jets in 1999 while replacing an injured Vinny Testaverde, will start in Fiedler's absence.

Fiedler sustained the injury on the next-to-last drive of the Dolphins' thrilling 24-22 victory on a pass to Ricky Williams in the flat.

``I came down on a helmet and felt something loose in there,'' Fiedler said. ``But I was still able to grip the ball and throw.''

On the final drive after Denver's Jason Elam kicked a 55-yard field goal for a 22-21 lead, Fiedler threw two incomplete passes. He then completed a 17-yard pass to Randy McMichael and a 22-yarder to Dedric Ward, setting up Olindo Mare's clinching 53-yard field goal with six seconds left.

``We'll find out (Monday),'' Fiedler said of his status. ``It's a right thumb fracture, down near the joint.''

Fiedler, who is 27-11 since replacing Dan Marino as the starting quarterback in 2000, is enjoying his best season. He has completed 112 of 176 passes (63.6 percent) for 1,289 yards with nine touchdowns and six interceptions. He also has rushed for three touchdowns.

El - Im not talking about Run Defense, Garner's Rushing is really only his 2nd weapon, He is probably the 3rd best Receiving RB in the league.

Garner is the real deal. Please put Zach Thomas on Charlie. Garner will run him out of his shoes. Zach is a real good player but if he is in charge of stopping CG good luck.
By the way, our "old" recievers have been doing pretty well this year. Rice this week had 7 for 133. Rice and Brown will get theirs. I think the question is what Miami reciever is gonna step up vs Woodson and Buchanon.
