    Dolphins 23
    Raiders 17
Excellent game. Another 100 yard game by R. Williams. I believe in a thread earlier this year quite a few posters said Ricky was overrated..........still think so ;)

See ya in the playoffs..............In Miami

Ricky Williams didn't do ****. Its pretty pathetic the Dolphins could barely beat a team with no CBs. See you in Hell Miami. 27-0 in the playoffs, that all that matters. You can't beat us in January, remember that, This game means nothing to us.

Dave Whinestat can kiss my silver and black ass.

Here come the excuses ;) The game should mean something, if the Broncos beat you next week then they control there own destiny. I guess rushing for over 100 yards means nothing againist your highly regarded run defense. We wont see you in Hell but we will see you in Miami if you make it that far :D

Dont worry we will be in the playoffs. We have 2 tough games left but Oakland's gonna get the job done. Nice win for you guys. I do think the Raiders depleted secondary did contribute heavily in the loss but, I give the Dolphin D much credit for holding the MVP in check. Williams had a decent game but make no mistake-costly turnovers (Brown's late fumble) hurt far worse than Williams on Sunday.

I mean the one cornerback (Clarence Love) had never started a NFL game in his life. I think its safe to say Wannstedt changed the game plan a bit when he saw Oakland didnt have either starting CB.

Plus you need to remember that Oaklands 2 remaining are at home. So before you have them in Miami, maybe you will have to come to Oakland for a change.
With Woodson playing I think the results will be different.

Ricky Williams was a non factor in this game, His 100 yards were mostly 5 yards here, 1 yard here, His 30 carries that got him 220 the two weeks before barely got him 100 this week. Don't tell me that we didn't stop him. The Dolphins won the game because of two costly Raider turnovers in the final 5 minutes of the game.

I agree that having your 2 corners out for the game was a set back for the silver and black and Wannstedt changed the game plan to account for that. The fumble by Brown hurt, but it was a good hit by Gamble to knock the ball loose. I`m sure we`ll meet again in the playoffs and Good Luck againist the Broncos this weekend.

I dont get your thinking, it may not have been a spectacular 100 yards but what it did was eat up the clock to keep the Raiders off the field. The Dolphins time of possesion was 36:53 compared to the Raiders 23:7
The Dolphins established 7 of there 21 first downs by running the ball and thus eating up the clock compared Raiders which had a total of 14 first downs and only 3 were from ruinning the ball. Ball Control is effective, it may not be glitzy all the time but it`s effective

All I am saying is that Williams was not spectacular, Travis Minor probably would have had more yards against us if he had gotten the carries. I think Williams is a fine RB, But he was not the reason the Dolphins won the game. The Raiders pretty much did all they could on Defense, but The weakness at Corner was exposed perfectly by Fiedler.

There's my boy Scary again, always being polite. :)

he makes me look even more like a prick. ;)

We will be back on track this weekend. Its Denver and hopefully Woodson is playing. Should be some great football. This Jennings/Love CB tandem is killing them so CW playing is a must. Wouldnt it be killer to effectively end Denver's and KC's seasons in back to back weeks? Tough but very possible.

It won't be a very tough take. We will sweep The Donkeys this season for the first time in a while. Revenge will be on our minds when we go up against KC.

Just a hunch - Tyrone Wheatley is about to have a huge game.

I hope you are right, in limited carries he has done very well. I am surprised Callahan has used "the hammer" this little. Tyrone obviously is a great power runner and is due for a breakout game. With Shanny gearing up for the pass, it would be great to run like mad. I heard they might try to go man to man on us like Miami did. I just don't see Gannon having 2 sub-par games in a row.
