The tire-marked sock worn by a cameraman whose foot was run over by Britney Spears has turned up on eBay.

TMZ.com put the sock on the Internet auction site and bidding reached $1,025 by Tuesday with the auction set to close on Wednesday.

Hours after losing visitation rights with her two young sons on Oct. 18, the struggling pop star apparently ran over the photographer’s foot while driving away from a Beverly Hills medical building. Spears’ car was surrounded by photographers when the incident occurred.

Video from the scene shows elements of the incident but not the tire rolling over the cameraman’s foot. Spears is seen beginning to pull out of the structure when her car comes to a stop.

Spears honks and the car lurches forward a few feet. Shouting is heard, and the camera jerks around as fellow photographers appear to help a man up.

Spears drives off and seconds later video shows what appears to be a tire mark on the photographer’s sock. The man, wearing sandals with white socks, doesn’t respond to questions from the others as he walks away, apparently unhurt.

TMZ producer Gillian Sheldon confirmed Oct. 19 that the photographer was employed by the Web site. She said there were no plans to file a police report. In a statement released by TMZ, the photographer indicated he wasn’t angry.

TMZ says all proceeds for the eBay sale will go to Children’s Defense Fund.

We all know that Britney is a trainwreck (psychologically and now physically), so her doing something like this isn't really shocking. What is shocking is that there are idiots out there that would pay over 1000 bucks for a sock...check that, a sock that has tire marks from BRITNEY SPEARS! I just have come up with my emergency fund/safety net for my family. Get an ordinary pencil, bite it and then sell it on eBay and say that it was Britney Spears' pencil! The bids for it should net in the hundreds, easily.
