Anyone have any experience with these dogs? Me and wifey saw one, played with it a bit and pretty much fell in love with the breed.

    Opinions? Experiences? Random tidbits?

    Hooch!

A neighbor of mine has one, but (in my opinion), they treat it horribly. Big dog, with the biggest head of any dog breed (size-wise). The neighbor dog always seems friendly, it'll let me pet him, but when I go to leave, he barks quite a bit. I don't know if he doesn't like to leave, or what's going on. They drool quite a bit...

Totally agree....but imo it's one of those dogs that is so ugly that it's cute.

    aka...Boxers, bulldogs...etc. :)

i dont remember the specifics, but when i was looking into getting one for myself a breeder told me about some health issues that they always seem to have. something like they have a very high % chance of they're hips dislocating because they were bread to grow quickly.

i'm not 100% sure on the specifics as i said, but i'd look into it carefully.
