The Hun thinks Doggy will hit 6th or 7th in the order and put up those kind of numbers. Link to article on cnnsi.com

Nice read, thanks for the link.

Here's to hoping that Hildalgo comes back and preforms well!

I think I would prefer Blum hitting before Hidalgo at this point...but if Richard is able to put up the above mentioned stats, I have no problem with him batting 6th.

eh, these numbers tell me nothing.

Adrian Beltre and Tino Martinez put up numbers around there. If Hidalgo put up numbers like them, that would be dissapointing.

On the other hand, Gary Sheffield also had around 25&80, and if Hidalgo hit like Sheffield, it would be cause for celebration.

And Lugo leading off still scares me.

Well at least there's some more proof that Hidalgo didn't just gain weight as some people still criticized him for. He put on 15 pounds of muscle which is far different than 15 pounds of fat.

That is unacceptable, unless he shows drastic improvement in his ability to get on base. Why not Biggio/Blum at the top?

15 pounds of muscle can still slow down your swing as much as 15 pounds of fat. I just want the Richard of 2000 back, sans 15 pounds of whatever.
