Does Yao look way more aggressive to anyone else?

Obviously Yao being passive and taking taking too many fadeaways and such is kind of the age-old story. Does it seem to anyone else like he has suddenly gotten about three times more aggressive, just in the past five games or so? Especially that first game against Orlando. Dude was crazy aggressive. It seemed like literally every time he caught it down low he went for the dunk. Sometimes he missed, but the fact is he was at least trying it. I know the guy has tended to have stretches like this every once in awhile and then gone pack to being passive, but this stretch seems a little more prolonged than usual. Anyone else get the same sense like this may be the beginning of the rest of his career? I'm not getting my hopes up too high, but he's been looking awfully good.

Yeah, I never questioned his aggressiveness tonight. Also, this team is beginning to believe in themselves. A couple of weeks ago, we might have given up in this game. We ended up winning. Its kinda funny, I never thought in my mind that we would lose. I am proud to be a Rockets fan. They are playing great right now.

Yao was passive in the 1st half, but went very aggressive in the second half: fighting over the double teams, going after offensive boards, blocking shots, altering shots. His shooting was off tonight but he still managed to make key contributions.

Yep, he has been very aggressive as a whole in the last 5 games, and that's good news to us.

Also agree that this game would have been a loss 3-4 weeks ago. The Rockets seem to be a different team right now and a good team always finds a way to win, no matter how ugly it is.

like I said a week or two weeks ago, he looks like he's getting into his one or two months of great play, before he does his customary late season fade. I actually thought he played well in the playoffs last year, the numbers didn't show it, but I felt his play was very very good.

It's really encouraging to see him fight back. He wouldn't have been to do it earlier.
