Absolutely..If Pippen can make it holding Jordan's jockstrap....Definitely he should be there....maybe not 1st ballot but eventually should get in.....
Yes, Carter belongs in the hall of fame. Half on merit and half on the fact that when he first came into the league, he himself was almost a movement. Movement may not be the right word, I think most will understand what I am getting at.
Just got 20k points I love VC so I vote yes, but it's highly unlikely because he hasn't really won anything, and he was never really a top 5 player
I agree...Vince just wasnt camera hungry like these other superstars otherwise he would have been HUGE....Its not his fault he played for some over the hill teams in the weakest conference period in NBA history
yes. he should be inducted just because of this <iframe title="YouTube video player" class="youtube-player" type="text/html" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/XMrPjl-927Q" frameborder="0" allowFullScreen></iframe> anyone who could do this should be in the hall of fame, no matter what. seriously. :l
If he is a prominent player on a championship team before he retires. Excellent player and one of the all time great dunkers (maybe had the best dunk of all time), but until he wins a ring as a good player probably not. Paul pierce wasn't going to the hall of fame playing on those bad Boston teams, until he won a championship and became finals MVP (Allen had a better chance, but solidified himself with these Boston teams as well.) Carter is in the same boat. Mitch Richmond was a better all around player but played on some bad teams which kept him from getting in the hall of fame so far. If Mitch had won a ring while still a good player he would probably be in the HOF.
I don't like Pippen at all, but he was great player with the Bulls. And he's listed as a top 50 player of all time. He's way better than Vince Carter.
