I noticed the USA has hit 100K cases a day since the Election. Even on weekends when reporting is low. Obviously cases are more spread out in the USA today and hospitals are hopefully more ready for a spike in cases. With more access to space and ventilators. But if hospitals get overwhelmed we are going to see the death rate in the USA will rise from 1% to 5% in those regions. Is there a plan to curtail the the spread? Can someone link me to it? Or is there a belief that hospitals are ready to handle a spike?
There is no national plan, unless you call spreading lies and disinformation about Covid from the sitting POTUS a plan. Each State are on their own. In some State, each county is on their own. The President-elect won't be sworn in until 1/20/2021. He formed a covid-19 task force and I'm sure they will be issuing guidance's and plans soon. Until after 1/20/21, the Fed Gov won't follow any of that and there won't be any fed funding for it. But, hopefully, States and local gov have some good solid guidance's to follow and do follow them.
