I have enjoyed reading some of the posts by the fans. The fans seem very supportive of our team Rockets.

Does those opinion and ideas by the fans ever get through to the players or coach or management?

Or we are probably just talking to ourselves, and sometimes it seems there's no reaction from the Rox unless some columnist in Houston Chronicle actually write something.

For example, we've been talking about the idea of giving Yao more touch for weeks. It seems that just recently after John Feigen wrote something that clearly point out what the coach need to do, all the sudden, the Rox are doing the right thing by getting the ball to Yao, consequently rip two great teams for good wins.

    Our opinions do not matter.

WE ARE JUST TYPING TO OURSELVES.

    The Rockets could care less.

If Steve Francis read this board, I would say, "You suck! How could you lose to the Cavaliers?" He is pretty emotional. Probably can't use a computer. :(

If a total stranger walked into your office and told you, "You are filing all wrong," would you listen?

We all have a right to vent and say what we think. Yes, sometimes we are even right. But, if any of us actually had the answers, don't you think we'd be working in the NBA and not posting on a bulletin board?

I'm not saying we don't know anything, but it's a tad disrespectful to think that we somehow have knowledge that players, coaches or management does not. Some of these guys have spent 10, 20, 30+ years working in basketball. My guess is that they know better. Just a hunch.

As for the Rockets as an organization, you bet they listen. Hell, their director of marketing posts here regularly. How they market, what they offer to fans...all of that stuff is determined, at least in part, by what they hear from us. But, dictating the fan experience is different from dictating the way the game is played.

    No, not at all.
It's all fantasy. All I want to say is to take it easy. There are other things in life.

Just b/c you throw empty beer cans at the tv that doesn't make you a qualified member of the Houston Rockets organization.

You are just a fan, be easy and watch the games.

They do not get tips from here that is for sure, but I am willing to bet that an occasional playe ror relative of a player will visit the site or thread and read the "good" posts....every ego driven celebrity enjoys some praise from fans
