After all the heeing and hawing that occurred last year after hakeem talked to that florida paper, does anyone know if Rudy really wants to try to keep dream next year? I mean that was quite bizarre when Hakeem called into that radio show to talk to rudy. I guess they've said all the misunderstandings are behind them, but still it would seem Rudy might be a little apprehensive of having dream on the team if it meant catering to what dream feels is best. I don't know. Maybe it is all water under the bridge now. Anyone ever hear anything about what rudy wants? ------------------ "I didn't like jr. high when I was there. Why would I want to watch it on tv?" P. Mesku's opinion about "Survivor"
I imagine Rudy wants the best center he can afford. Hopefully it's Dream. He knows they all come with baggage of one form or another. ------------------
I would say that Rudy definetely would like to bring Dream back if he can... the problem lies in the price not the baggage Hakeem brings. Last year when the Rockets reeled off that tremendous winning streak during those 15 games or so, Dream was the key contributor and main reason why they won (I feel). This proves that he can still work his magic, just not in such great quantities... and I think Rudy wants some of that if he can get it. But maybe Rudy knows the price will be too high, which is why he hasn't said a great deal concerning bringing back Dream. ------------------ Headley: Qualifications? i think rudy will do all he can to bring dream back. what rudy can't do is sacrifice cap space. ------------------
