hey guys i have a good chance of landing a tutoring job at both places but i am wondering which one would pay more? or if you have worked at either places, did you feel like it was a good enviroment to work at??
I taught the MCAT for Kaplan for a few years, they were pretty good to me, but different centers have different admin atmospheres. I looked into teaching for Princeton at one point, but they were borderline insulting. Both places can have a totem pole system, depending on how many instructors they have at the time. If they've got enough high-end instructors, expect them to have you teach the SAT and drive way out (Tomball, Woodlands, Clear Lake) to do so. So, my advice would be to get ironclad promises as to what, where, and how many hours their opportunities will be. Evan
