Does Lin get forced to put up low percentage shots way too often?

Whenever I watch games, I notice this many times throughout the game - Lin is forced to take low percentage shots.

For example, it starts with a Harden iso, and when they can't get anything running on the offense, they swing it to Lin (and since the shot clock is running) , he is forced to take a contested 3 point shot, or other low percentage shots.

I think this happens way too often. Does anyone else notice this?

He's not forced, he just jacks up bad shots.

The continuous efforts of you morons to bait the LOFHs to respond is disgusting. I have no idea why morons like you are allowed to keep playing this game here. Let's see how many LOFHs will fall into your trap again. You are ugly. Face it.

I'm not a LOF or a LOH. Believe it or not, this was a genuine question - not trying to 'trap' LOFs/LOHs

Sure does. They probably force him to eat hot dogs and hamburgers as well.

Jeremy Lin has it rougher than Jackie Robinson ever did.

"Is James Harden the reason Jeremy Lin shoots poorly?"

I think that was what you were going for.

If he would start making them, they would be good shots !

    Problem solved !

Jeremy Lin would be the Asian Michael Jordan if Harden was never born.

All of Jeremy's struggles are because of racism, Harden, and coaches. Why do we keep holding Jeremy down? :/

What I notice is that Lin passes up way too many easy shots because he seems so afraid on the court. I can't count how many times he beat his guy off the dribble, gets to the run and then doesn't know what to do and turns the ball over

I think teams know that Jeremy will never pull up for the jumpshot, so when they see him starting a drive towards the rim, the big men just rotate over and Jeremy has no idea what to do with the ball. It is pretty frustrating though to see him jump in the air, and THEN decide what to do with it.

Yes, the more the hate intensifies the more bad percentage shot he takes. This is a clear correlation.

That is the dumbest comment I have read from u in a long time.

Even if they go in its still a bad shot that just happened to go in. I don't have the stats but I bet percentages go way down when a player gets a shot-clock-dump-off-pass w/ 2-3 seconds left.

I hate that harden does that way too much to Lin, usually. It's a definite sign your offense is not running right

Jeremy Lin would be shooting 100% from the field if Harden didn't force him into bad shots

Alot of those shots are good shots if they just shoot them when they get the ball. He is initially open but hesitate and doesnt shoot the ball.

True , he be the first player to score 200%

If u look at Lin's scalp,he pretty much have empty spots, cuz Harden abusing him by smashing his head with a hummer every time before a game

    1. Lin has a very low BB IQ so he forces himself to take low percentage shots. It's all on him.

    2. Lin can't make easy 3 on 1 layups so forces himself to take tougher shots to get going. It's all on him.
