I believe every foul I have ever seen this guy make on the opposing player ends up with the basket being made.

Is this a random occurrence he gets a lot of, or does he make stupid fouls all the time?

Both him and Brooks are slumping at the worst time...Rockets need them to play well so the team gets good value for when they get traded in a few weeks.

    I chose no.

Usually a Hill foul end with crushing disappointment, bewilderment, and regret.

Fans get excited over big slam dunks and Hill has given many of those this season. Then when the fans realize that's pretty much all he does on occasion, they see he "sucks". It's a complicated thing folks.

Hill never fooled me. I knew he sucked while watching him in summer league. He has a very low basketball IQ. Similar to Stromile Swift. I hate dumb players on my team. To me, everyone else, including Aaron Brooks & Scola knows how to play smart the majority of the time. Patrick Patterson needs to take ALL of Jordan's time. If we have to have a low IQ big at least let him be a rugged rebounder or prolific shotblocker. Hill is neither. I'd rather give Hasheem Thabeet 10 min a game than have Hill. Morey's greatest miss was not drafting DeAndre Jordan in the 2nd round over Joey Dorsey.

You know, i can understand this being only his 2nd season. He's going to stay in foul trouble. He will start to get over that hump sometime mid-season next year. One step at a time guys. He almost has the jumper down, though. ;)

Beat me to it. Whilst he may not be consistent at the moment, in a year or 2 he has the physical tools to become a pretty good big, but he has to stop hitting the clubs and start hitting the playbook, and the gym while he is at it.

Imagine a whole off season of Hill and P Dub working with the Dream. Everything the Dream touches usually turns to gold.

It's only been two years and let's be realistic, this is really the only steady PT he's gotten.
I'm not saying he's the next *Insert allstar PF here* but if you've been around 6'9"-7'0" ball players you would see how akward most of them are. He's got raw talent but a long way to go to be a finished player. On that note the reason why most of his fouls end up in and 1's in because he's the last line of defense at the rim.
He's usually late on the rotation and the offensive player has a clear run at the bucket (Momentum is a mutha!) until Jordan attemps to swat at the ball or goes up for the block.
Give the kid some time, I wouldn't give up on him yet.

Hill's attitude reeks of Ariza. Same demeanor/poor body language with even less confidence.
We all know what happened to Trevor...
mark my words, Hill is not going to be a Rocket for long.

Yeah, i still sorta see this as his 1st season, seeing as he started playing later than the average player. So, in that sense, he's pretty good for a rookie. ;)
