    Does Bobby Jackson Stay?

Technically we can still trade him if he isn't included with anyone else.

Sacto is looking to drop contracts and rebuild.

We do one trade Battier and 2008 2nd for Artest
Second trade Bobby Jackson for //Kenny Thomas.
we can add cash so they can buy out jackson

Sacramento does it cause they get the something for Ron Artest and are able to get out from Kenny Thomas contract and get a pick. Battier will help their young team and that city.

Houston does it because they add a major 3rd piece in Artest and Kenny Thomas adds another big body to bang around now that the west is a little bigger.

WHAT do ya;ll think of my innuendo? IF its too light on sacto we could up the pick from a 2nd to a first.

Doesn't solve our PG and SG rotational problems. Luther and AB playing in the playoffs. We'll get executed.

ya but it solves the bigger problem of a 3rd scorer.

lol, much as I'd love to get rid of B. Jackson. I don't see Les or Morey pulling the trigger.

If we made that trade we probably wouldn't be able to re-sign Artest in the offseason and would be stuck with KT and his ugly ass contract playing 3rd string for 2 more years.

I wouldn't trade Battier or any of our starters at this point. I don't mind tinkering with the bench provided the trade makes sense but we can't lose Battier at this point.

Bonzi, i'll get over. Battier is too important.

Maybe you missed the part where it says we get Ron Artest.

I believe the reason for the Jackson trade was to turn around and get Artest or Mike Miller without worrying about not having a backup PG when Brooks is gone.

This move is clearly setting up another move (imo).

yeah you can only hope, cause i highly doubt that is what is goin to happen. Bonzi was good at times, but at other times he wasnt much to talk about. We just gotta wait and see how bobby does for us, until then, dont expect any other big moves considering this last one was clearly to cut salary

dont get your hopes up. this move was clearly a salary dump, unless in the next 20 mins we hear something out of the blue.

I say keep him. He can play back up PG, which is something Francis and James failed miserably at.

Takes pressure off of Brooks, seeing as he needs more time to learn to play the position. He's talented, but PG requires a lot more than cutting to the hole for layups.

As a business man, I would guess that Rockets might buy out Bobby Jackson's contract, and get some room to reach a deal. But in 20 minutes?

    That is a tough task!

A buy out doesn't remove him from the cap/lux tax, so it wouldn't really matter as far as trades. He could be bought out at any point if it's a roster spot that's the concern.
