Does anyone remember why Eddie got snubbed on XBox?

    Does anyone know what was up with our great rookie (at the time) Eddie "the snipe" Griffin not being on NBA Live 2002 (The one with Steve Francis on the cover)? Even Jefferson, who was only a third of the package we traded to New Jersey for the snipe was on that game. Was that just another attempt to snubb Eddie? :mad:

    Another big question is: What is the leagues updated views on Eddie's progression versus those traded for him? (My favorite moment watching the snipe was when he swatted Othella Harrington twice on the same play and Othella jogged back down the court wide eyed and shaking his head with a bereaved smile on his face in disbelief! :eek: :eek: :D I love it!)

    Either way, I hope his skills are showcased on the 2003 version with Ming on the Rockets... It's the only thing that will tide me over till the Rockets season starts! :cool:

    I think it has to do with the fact that Griffin wasn't under contract when the game was finally produced. Because he wasn't he couldn't be included on the Rockets in the game.

    i heard the same thing, that's probably it. on a related note, i read that nba live is introducing a new crossover/post up feature using the right analog stick. supposedly it's badass. maybe this will bring it back from the dead, cause it's been crap for like 3 years.

    These basketball games are getting as complicated as Madden! :eek:

    Uhh... On Live 2002, does anyone know how to stop dominating low post scorers (Shaq, Webber, and sort of Wallace) from scoring at will? My friend always does that when I go over to his apartment...

    All I know is that Ming better be on NBA2K3 for PS2. I don't even have a PS2 but I plan on getting one just so I can play with Ming and the rest of the Rockets and guide them to a championship.

    It depends on when Ming signs. Last year the cutoff was Sep. 10th, so if Ming signs before then or around there then he will be on the game.

    Turn off fouls and kill them! :D

    I'm not too good, but I would guess that maybe you should be a guard and try to still the ball away from the guy. I would think that would work since most post players don't have a ballhandling rating of 90. But if you get even more torched, don't blame me. :D

    There is no reason why he shouldn't be signed by then. It makes since that once the Worlds are over since Yao will already be in the US he'd go ahead and sign his contract then. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

    i shoot like 19-20 in live 02 with shaq. The post scoring is to good. I hate it and in both game syou can swing the ball fast enough.

    Thats why i stick to playing final fantasy
