i know there have been a million uniform threads. but im going to start a different one. i like our uniforms, yes they are a little busy, but we dont look like any other team in the nba. we are very very original. who else in the nba has pinstripes? or their number above the logo? i want everyone who likes our uniforms, or anyone who can tolerate them to respond and join me in our new found jubilation of risque uniqueness. so who doesnt have a problem with our uniforms and doesnt give a damn if we dont change them?
I think people harp on the uniforms too much. They aren't that bad. I would prefer a nice "championship-esque" red design, but I can live with the current design for a few more years. The worst uniforms belong to Utah and Cleveland, while the best belong to the Blazers and Raptors. I think these uniforms could be much improved if the pinstripes were removed, and "Houston" was placed on the front of the uniforms.
The Cavs jerseys in the latter Mark Price years and when Shawn Kemp was first traded to Cleveland were horrible -- the ones with those absurd baby blue paint splotches. This current Cavs jerseys are much better -- clean and inoffensive in their old school simplicity. The era of the busy, highly stylized uniform is over.
