I guess I just like Steve better. Sure, T-Mac's a good player ... but I guess I'm fond of Steve. Steve always plays hard, if not smart, but I don't think I can even say that of McGrady.
Someone please tell me, if we do trade Steve, who on earth is going to be playing the point?

Its going to break mine for sure. Like you said he isnt the smartest bball player but he makes up for it in heart and desire. I really want to keep him because he was a Rocket first.(At least played for them first :) )

Wherever he goes, instantly becomes my second favorite team. I am going to also miss Cat as well.

I feel you ... although I am sure you are going to be trampled by they many people who just plain hate Steve.

I love Steve and have been one of his biggest fans since he's been here, but if he can bring us T-Mac then I am all for it. I'll root for him in Orlando and wish him well, but I truly believe this is going to greatly help the Rox.

Its going to be hard if Steve is traded, he is my favorite player. But I look at it as good for both sides, its obvious that Steve won't be able to fully excel under a JVG controlled system and hopefully he can do great things with his next team.

When he goes, all my SF cards don't mean as much as they used to... I've spent a lot of money on him.

Steve is fun to watch, and always has a passion and love for the game. Compare Steve, who is begging to play on the Olympic team, with McGrady, who withdrew for "security" reasons. Steve would definitely be missed.

I'll never forgive SF for freezing out YM, his rookie season.

We'd scream after games how YM was ignored, even when he was wide open. ESPN even pointed it out - repeatedly. Everyone knew that YM was getting frozen out, and RT just let it happen.

So YM was cheated out of a ROY award, which he would have easily won if SF had simply done his job in a more unselfish manner.

So know the man who cheated YM (SF) is being shown the same door as the man who let it happen (RT).

    Karma's a b**** huh.

Not as broken hearted as I would be to see him throw the ball away or dribble it off his foot in a critical playoff game.

I’ll miss Steve and Cat about as much as I miss Kenny Thomas. They’re hardworking players with good heads on their shoulders, but it’s not going to take me very long to get over them.

Who will play the point? I'm not saying Steve's the "best on earth." What I meant was, who do we get who's even comparable to him? If we could sign Steve Nash, then I guess I won't have any complaints, but I just don't think there are many point guards we could get who are superior to Steve.

If there is a Steve for TMac trade. Steve's contract has him pretty much tied up but how long is Tmac's contract? It won't be another Posey-like trade will it?

I'll miss Steve, but at the same time, I know his development seemed to be halted the past couple of years. At the end of the season and playoffs when he was having all those bizarre instances of dribbling the ball off his foot, falling down and throwing the ball out of bounds really makes the fact he might be leaving a bit easier to take. He should thrive in the East though. His development might take off once he gets there.

The best trades are the ones that both teams benefit, hopefully that will be the case with this one.

I'll actually be happy for Steve. Maybe he can play for fans that actually appreciate him. :)
