we won 2 out of 3 against the Cubs. I dont think this will be a bad homestand, by the time the next two series are finished up.
3-3 is not exactly making hay. This is the only chance the Astros have to get a lead before they start going out and losing to the better teams in the national league. Their record against teams of .500 or better is horrible......and now they can not even beat a AAA style Reds team..... Writing is on the wall. DD
If we're going to win the Central we must take 2 of 3 from the Dodgers and sweep the Pads. We are much worse on the road than here at the Juicebox and we need to build some cushion before the Cubs start feasting on cupcakes.
This will be a terrible series for the fans as neither team wants to win. Expect these games to go extras.

And if you don't watch, then don't come here and try to impress your negativity upon those of us who still believe in the team and their chances of winning. underachieving?? are you serious?? their 2 best pitchers have either been hurt or have sucked...and the team is still in first. agreed...wade miller has underachieved...but has morgan ensberg? richard hidalgo? billy wagner? octavio dotel? again...if you would have told me that Wade Miller would be below average...and Oswalt would be on the DL 3 times...if you would have told me that at the beginning of the season..i'd tell you the astros would be looking at 4th place.
exactly. There is no way I would believe the Astros would be in first place if you told me the same. And that we would lose Kent for a month.
