Hey Doc Rocket: I'm sure many of us here on the BBS would love to get your take on what happened with this year's draft, and what our next steps are. I know the earlier situation regarding Mobely might have spooked you a little, but we sure would love any updates you could give us. Any insight on: <OL> [*] We're curious. Any other deals that Houston worked on during the draft that didn't go through? [*] We know the top 6 the Rockets would have wanted were gone by the time we selected, and so therefore, since next year's draft is so much deeper for players we'd be interested in, it made sense to trade down to Milwaukee and get a pick next year. But if we liked Collier, why didn't we trade further down, where we could have still picked him up, such as a trade with Chicago to get their later first round pick, and get one or two of their second round picks? [*] Why did we pick Langhi over Carawell, Mattola, Porter, and Brown, who were higher rated? [*] Did we try to trade Bryce Drew for any picks? If not, is he planned to be in any off-season trades coming up? [*] Do you know if there is any possibility of getting Rashard Lewis? [*] Is there anything in the works with Indiana, especially with Croshere? [*] Are we in pursuit of anyone else, such as Fizer, Kandi, Maggette, Jerome Williams, Jermaine Oneal, etc? [*] Are we doing anything to get lower under the cap for next season? [*] Are reports of Cato working hard this summer causing Houston to keep him, or is this posturing him for a trade? [*] Williams late year performance certainly increased his market value. Do you expect him to still be here next year? [*] How do you expect us to utilize our 4.5m exception this summer? [*] The Rockets usually pull off a big surprise each year. Hey Sherlock, Great questions. I'd like to throw in a couple more questions with you for Doc. Do we have a chance of pulling off a trade for Darius Miles? Do you think the Clippers plan on keeping him or trading him? Would they use him & Odom? If they would trade him, would the Rockets still be interested in aquiring him & what would we be willing to give up to get him? ------------------
