I just watched the end of the heat-celtics game on TNT Doc rivers had the happiest expression from a losing coach I have ever seen. He looked HAPPY! He looked so satisfied even though his team just lost. Talk about sportmanship. I actually like the celtics. They have some good young players. Paul Pierce is just playing out of his mind right now. But it just shows how quickly can things change in a year. HOpefully, T-mac would resurrect next year.
I'm in the minority of C's fans who likes Doc. Maybe it springs from my visceral hatred of Jim "Rick Pitnio lite" O'Brien.
sportsmanship is losing with dignity. I didn't see the game but I doubt doc rivers was happy after losing. plus its an 82 game season. doc is one of the most professional people in the NBA.
I think he was just sort of shocked after blowing the huge lead and coming close to winning the game still.
