My wife actually gets mad at me when I try to clean, because I " do it wrong." Works out well for me.

I don't like how the dishes feel after going through the dish washer... so I wash (occasionally) by hand. However I eat out for the most part so I don't have many dishes to wash in the first place. Sometimes I just reuse a plate, because I'm nasty like that. Reuse, reduce, recycle.

I live alone currently, so I do 100% of the household chores. But even if I had a GF or wife, I'd still help out with dishes and other chores. It's called being a responsible adult.

I sure hope you're still a kid and the "woman" in question is your mom...in which case hopefully you'll grow out of that mindset very soon. If you're a married adult, then it's past time to mature and stop being a douche. Most women despise laziness in men. Show a little effort.

b/c of my OCD, i'm the one who is constantly cleaning the house, including the dishes. Plus i think my wife does them wrong. she never pre-rinses, and i probably overscrub before putting them in the dishwasher, b/c i hate getting dishes out of the machine that have dried up food on them.

Regardless, she takes care of all the cooking - so it works out well.
