Nope. We're still struggling with the whole gas and electric and whatever powered car.. We're not gonna see flying cars until a long, long time.. if they ever get invented.

When I was younger I've always thought that people would just make airplanes and make it smaller to the size of a car and sell it, hence a flying car. It makes more sense.

But I'm more interested in a time machine. I'd go back and ace all my elementary tests! And go back and hit on my gf a lot sooner. And invent sliced bread (I'd be a kajizillionaire).

Getting in a wreck would suck. They'd all have to be the same level when airborne.

I'd like to see it, but it won't happen.

T minus 8 years until we have flying cars. Are you r****ded? Did you not see BTTF? 2015 is coming. I've been ready for it since 1985.

What happens if your car break down or you run out of gas now? Nothing really, you pull over to the side of the road. What happens with a flying car? Oops, you die.

Actually, terminal velocity is much faster than 88 mph. (iirc, it is around 160 mph.) As long as you're in a Delorean, you're golden. Or forsaking that, a Dr. Brown train will work in a pinch, also.

This is the ONLY flying car I will ever recognize:

I've given this a lot of thought. You see, you can't mess with the past. It will screw the space-time continum. What you do with your time machine, see, is go into the future and get a 'Sports Almanac 2000-2050' and just make bets based on the results. Then you 'buy' your hometown, become mayor, kill your one true love's husband, get her fake boobs, and live with her in luxury at the top of your casino. I've got it all figured out. And if some crazy, wild eyed kid ever comes along and knows your secrets, you just have to take care of him, too...

I'm planning on getting a hover conversion done soon. Goldie Wilson III told me it only costs $39,999.95.

There will never be a flying car. The reason, there is too much liability. If your call stalls out, you are dead. Also, as soon as it gets more than a few inches off the ground, it will be called an airplane or a helicopter and the FAA will regulate it currently the air is overcrowded as it is. I don't think they will let everyone take off from their garage.

If you are talking about a few inches off the ground, we already have that. Its called a hover craft.
