BUT, that was still fun to watch again. The funniest part was seeign Birdman. I wonder where he is now after his expulsion.

I think he would have if he hadn't been pulled away immediately. Mason was very lucky. I would not want to be on the receiving end of a punch from Yao.

In any case, Yao already humiliated him with that monstrous block.

Yeah his pride got hurt... but I'm sorry if i was on the court when it happened and i saw Desmond throw that cheapshot I would have decked him... but thats just me. And i dont think you'll see anyone stepping to Yao with "plex" this season the mans hands are huge, once u see him up close and in person you'll be like

That video is a little misleading. I remember seeing TNT replays from a different angle. That "punch" was actually Mason jerking his arm away from Juwan Howard. It didn't come anywhere close to Yao.

 

Yao is a competitor. NOT a fighter.

in that particular situation last season, Yao was just playing hard and in the course of play, fell onto Mason.

Mason thought Yao was trying to push him down...but Yao was only trying to keep from falling on him completely.

I think yao was more shocked by Mason's reaction than anyone.

i also think because of Yao's BB background, he will probably never fight someone, or throw a punch. For 20 years he was taught to play hard but practice self control.

just look how rare it is for the China national Team to fight. it happened once last year. And they got a big penalty. Don't look for that behavior again.

Yao may appear soft or meek. the truth is, he has alot of mental strength and self control. Respect of other players is a big part of his foundation (BB)

 

Can someone put up cheap and exploitive videos of cheerleaders? I could then forget about the "trade".

Does anyone have a video against Dallas where Josh Howard tried to start something with Yao, then Sura checked in from the bench a few plays later and just tackled Josh Howard in retaliation?

 

Next to Howard pushing every punk who ran up on Yao and him like they wanted some, the funniest thing about that little brouhaha was, if you watch the last part of the replay at the end, you can see Mason attempting to run around the baseline to get some more action but quickly sent in the opposite direction by Patrick Ewing.
