First off, this might of been issued before, and its stated as Dwight Howard is the 2nd option. Well if you look at missed games/ and no shows on back to back, hes hurting the rockets. I still think that 2nd option is not howard. We dont have a 2nd option. So what am i suggesting. They might need to trade for someone who can score on will, and you thought that could be Lawson, but as of late its not him. I know its the defense that is hurting them, but if they play up and down, they need another scorer. Rudy Gay for Trevor Ariza/Jones and or D-Mo... and a pick to sweetin the deal....
We should trade Jones, Terry, McDaniels and top 55 protected second rounder in 2022 for Cousins and Gay. Idiot Morey should have done this trade long ago. You're welcome!

There ain't no game plan to fix the Lawson situation that does not take the ball out of Harden's hands and limit his effectiveness. Lawson just doesn't have the tools to mesh with Harden. Low % shooter from 3 , poor defender .... basically he becomes a spot up shooter that can't shoot with Harden on the floor and with Harden leading the league in minutes played , he doesn't get much run without him. Cant justify that $12m cap hit. Cant blame Morey for trying but Lawson is the wrong fit , they need a combo guard not a true point. If everyone were healthy I'd have an 9 man rotation with Harden at the point , Thornton at SG , Ariza at SF , DMo & Dwert at the big positions. With Capela , PatBev and Jones as the three primary players off the bench and a few spot minutes for Brewer so I didn't kill Ariza playing him 48 minutes a game.
its the effort and mental side of the things. that's the most urgent issue to be solved. not the coaching, not adding players or talent, not moreyball philosophy, not nothing else. not saying the rest isnt problematic, tho.
