So I was watching old VY videos (jcdenton40.com) when the question came to me: how many people out there like Vince Young more than the Houston Texans (of course, this is primarily targeted towards people from Houston or people who root for the Texans). I DO root for Houston but only because they're my home team and never against Philly.

And if this question has been asked 900 times, d'oh. I've never seen it.
Edit: That should say, "No, I prefer the Texans to VY but like both." I just realized my stupid error. D'oh.

I'm a Texans fan first. VY may be from Houston but he's a Titan now, no point in choosing him over our team. The only player outside of the Texans that I'm supporting is our boy Kevin Kolb. Been going to his games since my freshmen year in college. Too bad he plays for such hard-to-please fans as the phillies.

lol, we're easy to please. Just win. My Cheesesteak of Suffering is at 8931 days, 21 hrs, 56 mins, and 20 sec. And I think Philly could very well go deep in the playoffs if the front office would just give McNabb some DECENT RECEIVERS. Why they didn't even ATTEMPT to go after Andre Johnson just blows my mind.

I'm a UT alum, and a Titans fan. Safe to say I prefer VY to the Texans. I don't hate the Texans, but they just aren't my favorite team, either.

I like Vince Young more than football.

If he was a chef at a hotel, I would only eat there, and sleep there.

VY is experiencing the John Madden's cover jinx like everyone else, but the Titans still win.

I choose Mario Williams instead of all of the choices on the board

The Texans are dead to me until Kubiak is fired and Bob McNair sells the team.

I was a die-hard Oiler fan and never really got back on board with the Texans as they didn't have an identity and weren't really giving the fans much of a reason to care.

Vince Young, local hero, coming out early and the Texans having the #1 pick in the draft gave them a chance to have a face to the franchise and pick up many, many fans like myself.

Instead they pulled the biggest bone-head move ever and look where it got them (last place for the 3rd year in a row?). New Orleans makes the playoffs last year, the Titans QB wins ROY and goes on an amazing run once starting...

And look at where each of these teams are today... The Texans blew it. I wanted a reason to care about this team... and in a way, I got one. I now actively root against them and take pleasure when they loose. It's really too bad, because I wanted to get on board and have a reason to root for an NFL.

A qb who can't pass would be the absolute last thing the Texans need right now btw.

Uh...RIIIIIGGGHHHHT...except that same QB would be the one that is running all over the defense and creating plays all over the field and leading his team to victory.....

And the LAST thing the Texans need is more victories.

The Texans wouldn’t win a single game with KY and lack of passing abilities.

Yeah, I know DD. I thought VY on MNF showed he could pass when he, you know, threw all day on the Saints. I guess that didn't count. My bad.

I also would've become a Texans fan if VY was on the team. I'm an Eagles fan; I've been rooting for that team my whole life. My dad's from Philly. I've done some pretty stupid things as a result (see Michael Irvin). But could I have been a legitimately conflicted fan of two teams in the NFL? You betcha. A Phi/Hou Super Bowl (ha! hahahahaha!) would put me in a real moral conundrum. But now? PFFFFT! Philly in a blowout.

And the titans? I believe I can sum it up by quoting two comments I made on YouTube:
By the way, watch the first video up there sometime. Pick Vince Young is probably the most unintentionally funny song I've ever heard.

Vince Young is a terrible NFL quarterback. The Titans have probably the best defense in the NFL. If you think a guy with 3 touchdown passes and 8 interceptions is the one "leading" his team to victories you are delusional.

First off, 3rd best. Second of all, Sophomore Slump. Third of all, Madden Curse.

I'm going to have to go with the Texans. According to some here, that makes me a "hater".

I can't get over how good we looked the first 2 weeks of the season before all these damn injuries started occuring. Not to mention how good the 1st team offense looked during the preseason. Really makes me wonder where we would be right now had we been at full strength all year.

Just the fact that this poll is so close should tell you something.
