Apparently several people on the BBS do not like the fact that I listen to Hip-Hop/Rap music and question my fanhood.

Business and life led me to Austin, TX from Houston and for some reason being a fan of Tupac or Tribe Called Quest and living in Austin to others seems to invoke personal attacks .

So can you be a fan of rap/hip hop music?
does it matter what race? gender? location? income level?

What is hip hop credibility? if you love the music for your entire life, how can you not be credible?

tinman - of course it doesn't matter. Don't concern yourself with Moes...he gets jealous like a little child when somebody else on the bbs gets attention.

i've noticed of late that moes has become positively batmanian in his intolerance of people who think different.

yeah I thought it was 2009. People have many taste in music.
It wasn't only one person on the BBS. I went on IRC and members of the BBS asked why I was trying to be another race.

Darius Rucker is doing a nice job at it.

But yea, i dont walk around all "thuggish" but sometimes rap is just what you need to satisfy the mood you are in.

Is rap all you listen to tinman?

tinman you're a joke dude. There's nothing wrong with listening/being a fan of rap. I live in College Station, TX and all I listen to is underground philly rap, Gang starr, Tupac, biggie, and the Chronic album. What moes/people in general have a problem with is your consistently annoying rants about "street cred" and "representin'". For instance, I once called you out on something jokingly , you replied with a freaking youtube clip of "haters wanna hate" or something along these lines and you likened yourself to Tupac/Jesus.. I rest my case.

What does living in Austin have to do with it?

So what if I reply with Tupac videos or NAS Hate me now?

Tupac was human, he had problems like all of us.

we're all in the same gang

tinman, your question is so stupid I can't even believe it.

You are a hip-hop fan and nobody cares, but the problem is that you act like you have some sort of "street cred" because of it. Quite hilarious really.

Awesome though how much I get to you.

I got more rep for that OWNAGE of tinman in that thread than any other thing I've done.

Not only that but I got the other trolls sexxxytexxx and basso crying because they can't handle my awesomeness either.

    Man I rule.

    Awesome!

Moe, you aren't the only one. Another one of your pals on IRC mentioned "why am I trying to be " another race.

I never said my life mirrors Menace II Society or Boyz N Tha Hood, so why would someone think that if I reply with tupac videos?

I quite honestly (and innocently) thought you were black until you posted that video of you asking Clyde a question. I was like, wow, he really sounds white.
