I heard that you don't have Smarties candy in the US. Is this true? Do you have Smarties in the USA? "When you eat your Smarties, do you eat the red ones last?" Do you??
Where are you from Fade, I always forget. I want to say Australia, but for some reason I'm also thinking Canada.
When you you eat your smarties do you eat the red ones last, do you suck them very slowly, or do you crunch them very fast? They are candy-coated chocolate, so tell me when I ask, when you eat your smarties do you eat the red ones last! But in answer to your question, no. We have M&Ms. We also don't have Coffee Crisp, Mr. Big, or Caramilk. Being a permanent snowbird in Texas, I miss all of the above.
My girlfriend's mom is absolutely addicted to these things. She eats them 24/7. She claims that one day, she's gonna make a Smarties Flavored alcoholic drink, and make millions. I score huge points by bringing her big bags of them.
Yeah, Canadian Smarties are kind of like M&Ms I believe. Much different than the compressed sugar Smarties that the weird kid in my middle school would cruch into powder and snort like coke.
And you didn't even mention Aero bars? Man, you're a pathetic disgrace of a Canadian. And I've only visited Canada twice........probably two times more than 95% of the people here, haha.
It's a neat place, at least from what I have visited which is probably the best the country has to offer. Oops, that wasn't a dig, I swear. I went to Toronto in '01 and Montréal the next year. Or was it '03. I don't know, but it was the same year I drove through Vermont with my dad and spent a few nights at a sculling (single-person rowing) camp. Yeah, the rowing was definitely my dad's idea. Anyway, it's worth checking out, especially considering... Legal Drinking Ages USA: 21 Quebec: 18 Rest of Canada: 19 Looks like I'll be taking a road trip one weekend this summer.
We have Smarties in Australia as well as Aero's. Do you have Tim Tam's (Biscuts) in Canada or the U.S? Also, what about Mars Bars?
