https://implicit.harvard.edu/implicit/demo/index.jsp Do you have a conscious bias against certain groups? you probably would say no, however, let's see if you have a subconscious one. take the tests, I highly recommend the African-American one or the Muslim one.
"Your data suggest a moderate automatic preference for White American relative to Black American" How did they calculate this? I only got one error: when I selected that FAILURE was good. Sorry, but I'm in sales... you gotta fail your way to success. "Your data suggest little or no automatic preference for Other People relative to Arab Muslims" Surprised?
It isn't about errors, it is about speed, ya racist . When you associate white with good faster than black with good, then it says you have a bias against black or vice versa. I took the young old test first, and was moderately biased against old, then took the black white test and showed no bias. I don't think I have a moderate bias against the old, it is just that I was slower after they switched the sides the first time, because I wasn't used to it.
Exactly. Those tests are hogwash. I took the Gay/Straight test and was cruising right along until they switched things up. If they associated Good words with Gay at the beginning of it instead of the opposite way, I'm sure I would have ended up favoring the gay side.
I have a slight automatic preference to Black American relative to white American. I have no automatic preference in regards to Arab Muslim relative to white American.
