I know that there really is a rare chance of disaster or anything else in Houston, besides hurricanes... I just wanted to see... how many people have disaster plans here? Hurricanes, Tornadoes, etc. Or... when disaster strikes do you just go with the flow?
There's not much planning to it. Have your insurance paid up, all documents in a fireproof waterproof place, and get the hell out BEFORE everyone else decides to stop procrastinating.

Living between the Cascades and the Cascadia Subduction Zone, we have an earthquake plan. And we have a fire plan because if I didn't it'd be hypocritical and tempting fate. We also have an epidemic plan that could be modified for zombies without much work.
Where I live the most likely potential disasters are fire, tornado, blizzard and zombies. Have plans for those including some a fire safe for valuable docs, canned food and water stocked up along with several weapons that can deliver suitable blunt force trauma to take out zombies.
My zombie defense weapons we should all keep on hand: and the one that is guarenteed to be effective:
Does the Earthquake Disaster Plan apply to a BoobQuake Event? Or will we need something a bit more tailored to the event?
I usually just go into my panic room when something happens. I have everything I need in there to survive for a month or so without stepping out.
Pretty similar except that you need something that provides more support as there will be more shaking during a boobquake and a boobquake is something that you want to get your hands on rather than just riding it out.
