100 points in a game, ESPN analysts will still find a fault at him. Just a fun post to see if scoring 100 points in a game changes peoples perception on someone.
They would say "Yeah but there's no other real centers in the game today. If Chamberlain was going against guys like Johan Petro, Adonal Foyle, and Jake Tsakalidis, he would have scored two hundred...in a half. Get back to me when Yao can do that."
Somebody here will make a thread saying "It's hard to Argue against scoring 100 pts" then proceed to talk about how she doesn't like Yao.
Well get the coach's poppa to become a new member named Stupidier who will create 10 new threads a day about how Yao owes everything to his boy!
i love discussion, and i find myself agreeing with y'all a lot. but if y'all are gonna take potshots at each other, how about you take it to the hangout. i expect pu$$y fights from rookies, not experienced posters like yourselves.
I did... but this is a silly thread, so I was giving a silly answer. Really, this "Yao gets no respect" meme is getting carried way too far. He does deal with stereotypes, particularly from some people, but there is a large contingency of people who praise him for his performance.
He's 7 friggin 6....all he has to do is turn around and dunk it each time. Come on Yao, play like a man!
The only way for Yao to shut those f**ckers up is to get a ring. Yao can do it. The most I like Yao is his mentality toughness. He takes actions over brag.
If Yao used enough energy to score 100 points in a game, he's not going to have enough energy to finish the regular season because he's weak and has terrible conditioning!
