Do you guys ever feel depleted due to sports. Something which should serve as nothing more than entertainment takes so much out of you!! I'm currently studying for an Evidence Final (Law School) and I just can't find any motivation. Anyone else find sports-related sorrows impacting other aspects of your life?
No sports are purely entertainment , Teams root i for don't give me million $ . Players get $ , i dont
When Yao went down what was is it... 2-3yrs ago I was devastated. Then we won 22. I guess you could say that roller coaster ride left me depleted. Also, I start to get sad, like missing an ex-girlfriend you cared about at random times when I think about college football. College football should be an all year affair.
Gosh, I thought you meant sexually. Seeing as how Victory Sex after a Rockets win is a tradition with my significant other, I can't say sports depletes anything, at least not right away.
Rockets in the 04-05 series with the Mavs and getting blown out in the 7th game.... Astros in the WS.... USA in the WC..... yep.
Why? We won this past season without him. If healthy, we'll win more with him. If he's healthy, we'll sign him to an extension. Seriously, what does Yao have to do with it? I'm looking forward to more victories!
GF is from Spain so them winning really bothers me... Bosh hurts twice as much since I'm from Ohio and follow both the Cavs 'n' Rockets.... and now LeBron
I used to let it bother me... but now I... no, wait, yeah, it still bothers me and affects me greatly to see a team or player I want to do well FAIL at the top of their game.
What an attention wh*re...Look at me, I'm in Law School... j/k I can relate, sports have us involved and even though we aren't playing, we are apart of the wins/loses due to our involvement/passion of the games...
Last time that happened for me was the Pujols HR in the NLCS. I was listening on the radio at work and I wanted to throw up almost right away.
Also when Deke went down in the playoffs last year. That was more of a "man I feel bad for that guy" type of thing though. From the way he fell you knew it was over.
