    I use one when traveling and am debating letting my subscription renew for a full year but I was wondering if it is just overkill? I don't really need it to access anything specific but annual costs are pretty low. So, I'm curious what folks normally do (vs getting it just so you can access League Pass, etc)

    General everyday browsing? No. But say, a large file via a certain application, yes.

    When traveling, only when I was in China.
    But honestly I should use it more when on public wifi.

    Got me some VPN to view banned sites and sail the high seas again. I use Nord, it's like $3/mo when I signed up for 2 years.

    All the time on every device. ProtonVPN. I only turn it off if a certain website won't work with VPNs but that is rare.

    No, but considering it very soon.

    I do run two PiHoles on my home network (for redundancy). Also considering hosting a vpn from home so I can take advantage of the PiHole’s ad blocking.

    Only when I'm downloading bootleg media, and sometimes when surfing p*rn.

    Years ago, I bought a lifetime license to VPN Unlimited and I'm sorta grandfathered in. I don’t like to pay monthly fees.
