...Cause I sure don't. Sure, I'm a well educated guy. I even took a human sexuality class in college. But I still don't understand the whole thing.

This is what I do know:
    1) It is 28 days long
    2)aaaahhhhhh
I guess that is all the facts that I know.

What I want to know for sure is, when during this cycle is the best and the worst time for them to get pregnant? And how do birth control pills work?

I'm sure a 6th grader can read and understand this:

Birth control pills, or oral contraceptives, contain hormones that suppress ovulation. During ovulation an egg is released from the ovaries, without ovulation there is no egg to be fertilized and pregnancy cannot occur. There are 2 types of birth control pills -- the combined pill and the Minipill. The combined pill contains both estrogen and progestin, while the Minipill contains only progestin.

The progestin in the Minipill may prevent ovulation; however it may not do this reliably each month. The Minipill works further by thickening the mucous around the cervix and preventing sperm from entering the uterus. The lining of the uterus is also affected in a way that prevents fertilized eggs from implanting into the wall of the uterus. The Minipill is taken every day. You may not have a period while taking the Minipill, if you do have periods that means you are still ovulating and your risk for pregnancy occuring is greater.

Combination birth control pills come in either 21 or 28-day packs. You take one pill each day at the same time for 21 days. If you have a 21-day pack, you stop taking birth control pills for 7 days at the end of the pack. If you are taking a 28-day pack, you continue taking pills every day, the last 7 non-hormonal pills serve as a reminder to help you remember to take your pill at the same time every day. Your period will occur during the week you take the 7 reminder pills.

I'm also sure they can read this:

The best way to get pregnant, once you know your approximate day of ovulation, is to start having intercouse about four days before. You should do this every other day to give the sperm count time to replensh to full capacity. In a 28 day cycle with ovulation on the 14th day, that would be Day 11, Day 13, and Day 15.

Ovulation, which only takes about two minutes to complete, usually occurs 14 days after the onset of the period in a 28 day cycle. Ovulation always occurs 14 days BEFORE the onset of your period. The egg is capable of being fertilized for 24 hours. If your period is 29 day, then you would usually ovulate on Day 15. Subtract 14 days from the length of your period, and this will give you the approximate time of ovulation.
To be absolutely sure when ovulation may occur you can use a basal body temperature chart. Using a special thermometer, called a basal body thermometer, you must take your temperature every morning BEFORE getting out of bed and record this on a chart (such as the one below). Your temperature rises between 0.4°F and 0.8°F on the day of ovulation. Chart your basal body temperature daily on a graph.

They also keep fertilized eggs from staying inside incase an egg does slip by. It is kind of super early term abortion.

If the front door is closed for repairs... use the back door.

See dude, THAT is gross. If you go front door you have a much lower chance of crap chasing you when you make your escape.

Playing the back 9 is a lot more efficient and sanitary than you may think.

Especially as long as the grounds crew had been out there earlier.

I'll take the red bow tie over the brown one. Hell, it can even be a little greenish.
