to NBA star players? The Brad Millers, Ron Artests and Kevin Martins of the world swear by him, but he did clash with the more "ball stopping" oriented McGrady. Yes he had Clyde but that was too long ago for this generation of superstars to remember. Chris Webber is super too as a star, but he was one willing to blend his game into the Adelman system. Brad Miller says he loves Adelman's coaching because "there's not a lot of bull **** on top of it." But don't NBA Superstars want some bull **** on top of their coaching, the bull **** that guys like Pat Riley and Isiah Thomas provide but not Adelman?
Artest can be called a ball stopper too, so I don't think that's the reason he clashed with TMac. Adelman is a great coach, and didn't seem to clash much with Mac until Mac decided to start playing coach and doctor instead of star player. I think the players probably underrate Adelman because, as with everything in the new NBA, "it don't mean **** until it has a ring on it".
Only to players who have played with him because they know how great a coach he is. Unfortunately because he hasn't won a championship he won't be a big draw like a Phil Jackson or Pat Riley(Even as a GM now). Rick has been labeled as lots of offense and little defense. I think even though people see him as good he won't be a big reason for coming to Houston.

I don't see a problem with his thread titles. It injects some much needed humor into the forums, but apparently a large number of posters here are a bit sensitive to harmless innuendo. Are you hiding some sexual insecurities? Does it make you uncomfortable to ponder the attractiveness of Rick Adelman (to star players)?
I don't about the last part you said, but I did find the title a little funny. But I guess it's cuz i don't come on here that often and I don't already hate the guy
