I know u really can't judge by one game but it's an interesting thought. Hill and Cousins are both very young and have a lot of room for improvement. After tonight's game against Sac, do we really want to trade Hill for Cousins or do we want to develop Hill further? However, more than anything, it will take some more games between Hill and Cousins to figure it out (I'm kinda rooting for Hill at this point bc he's been undervalued).

Of course we would still want Cousins.

Yao has had Howard's number every h-2-h. Would we not want Dwight?

Yep, still do. Hill is a PF not a center...Cousins is a TRUE center.

Plus, Cousins put up 19-8 and 4 blocks himself.

Cousins still seems like more of a natural center. Hill had a great 4th quarter tonight, though, and his one-on-one defense is REALLY coming along now.

Yes I still think we should go after him. He is still that big body that we still need to build around and his good passing skills would really be good in RA's high post offense

Hell yes we do. Hill did a good job on him but Cousins is still raw brimming with potential. He is a beast and with his physical attributes he will become unstoppable. All he needs is time to develop, mature and learn. When all is said and done there will be no comparison between the two.

I was never really in the camp who wanted him... so my answer is 7?...

To be fair, judging a player based on one game, two games, even 20 games is kinda dumb. Jordan Hill looked like garbage when he was with the knicks...

Cousins would be number 1 overall in this draft if he would be a hard-worker without mental problems

Yes. If we can have both in fact thats the best possible point to start over in rebuilding than other teams have with bigs. Think about Cousin and Hill two interchangeable parts at center and PF with that much athleticism, size, and mass under the basket? Thats a NBA rebuilding teams dream Morey would feint over to have.

Not sure what the point of this thread is. Sac would laugh in your face if you offered Hill for Cousins. And we are asking if we would still take him???

there are just a couple of weaksides in his game and work ethic and off-court problems are the main of them

Cousins seems to play below the rim alot...I'm not sayin he will be a good center just not as dominant as some of the folks on this board think...plays like a taller "Big Baby" just without the athleticism...and yall know the gay fat dude is athletic

    Yes. Yes. And Yes.

The man is an idiot. Terrible shot selection. Pouting on the court lacking any real focus. Melted down the stretch.

And with that said.. he is the definition of a "beast". He just bulls people in the post like only Dwight Howard can. He needs A LOT of coaching. And gotta pray he matures but he has all the talent in the world.

    Brooks+Hill+Bud

    for

    Cousins+Beno

Steep price but I think thats where you have to start when making an offer. Kid has legitimate elite talent in the post.

Just to have Cousins and Hill starting i would give them Scola and Brooks and Battier for that starting point and take on any poison pill contracts they have to get it done in fact. Then start all over with this team and build around that huge front court.

We need a lot front court help.

Hill has improved, but he isn't close to consistent yet.
