Brand and Luis too slow for him.

Jordan matches up physically but he won't be there for long unless he's doing good offensively.

Shane? Not sure he'll take a charge from him. ;)

JJ - I have a feeling he'll get some time.

    PP - I doube he'll see action.

Oh we still got our best option, Chuck Hayes :). Would be big challenge against Blake.

What you guys think? I'm sure this is going to be an interesting match up.

If he doesn't make double double in the first half just like what he did recently, i'll consider it a good job for as long as they don't get the double U.

No, and he is a joy to watch.......

The Clippers are figuring out that he needs the ball as much as possible...when they finally commit to him, they are going to be much better.

    Griffin is amazing.

Chuck "Norris" Hayes doesn't have to stop Blake Griffin, Blake stops for him.

He is going to have to get in position first, I think Hayes is goin to surprise him. I still see him dominating the boards though...

I would put the Chuckwagon and Hill on him. That might be able to slow him down to an extent.

Don't doubt Chuck. He always baffles players he's smarter than. Bynum comes to mind.

Not Hill. The typical NBA power forward/center will not work on him.
I say we're going to have to bring in our secret weapon: (well actually its a defense mechanism...) Chuck Hayes!

Fun guy to watch because only Baron Davis can stop him. Terrific player, terrific guy. But, they are the Clips so...

The vast majority of time when Chuck Hayes is successful in the post, it's because he's managed to bait the offensive player into trying to back him down. (The other times it's stripping the ball). It's mind boggling to me. Even Kevin Garnett falls for this ploy instead of just rising up and taking advantage of the height mismatch.

Blake Griffin is a rare breed of mobile and strong PF. I know what Hayes is going to do. From what I've seen thus far of Griffin, he appears smarter than take the cheese bait from Chucky.

We have nobody to match up with Griffin. Most teams don't stop Griffin, but stop his teammates. It's worked pretty good so far.

At first glance, I thought the title said "Do we have somebody who can stop Griffin on Weed"? Oh and he'll get some big numbers, but we win anyways.

Just throw Chuck at him and hope the rookie inconsistency bug bites him that day, what else can you hope for?

Chuck owns rookies who rely on athleticism alone to score. Griffin will get no position from Chuck.

Before I respond let me say that Griffin is currently one of my favorite players in the league. When talking about a player like Griffin "stop" might not be the best way to describe it.

Chuck Hayes will contain Griffin as well as anyone in the league can. Hayes is quick enough and strong enough to stay in front of Griffin. Griffin still brings the ball below his chest occasionally and each time Hayes will get his hands on it.

I think a lot of people may think that Griffin will jump over Hayes every other time down and Hayes will not be able to do anything about it. That's so far from the truth. Hayes will get Griffin into an uncomfortable postion on the court nearly every time and he will match his foot speed when he tries to make a move on him.

I am excited to see that match up play out.
