Do they sell those retro t-shirts they gave away last night?

    I'm talking about those old red Rocket ringer tees with the yellow.

    Man I got there 50 minutes before tipoff and they were GONE. Totally pissed me off. However, for the first time ever I realized why I would like a new arena....

    I would like a freaking sportsbar to hang out in before the game.

    the give-away t-shirts were for those that only went to the game, you can check ebay and see if anyone is selling theirs...

    I think Tim said it was because most people identify the Rockets in their red uniforms rather than white uniforms.

    I found an official "85-86 Western Conference Champions" shirt at Value Village for 1 dollar. It is so, so sweet. I'm sure these new ones will turn up in resale shops soon.

    I feel your pain :( . My cousins and I got there a HOUR before the game and they were gone. We are usually good getting there early for giveaways and guessed we underestimated the crowd that was going for the giveaway.

    Ive got a few that I was going to sell (not the ones given away) that I found at various Houston thrift stores.

    One is heather gray with the Rockets logo across the chest (really really small).

    The other is red with cracked lettering and the logo ball in the center of the shirt. Probably a medium.

    The players were wearing a grey shirt before gametime nobody else had.....it had the old Rocket logo somewhat faded but looked cool.

    When I asked where you could get one they said only the players were given that shirt.
    I did hear that Yao and Steve's Uniform will be donated for charity.
