As dreamy as that would be, it's horribly, horribly unlikely.

No. That would be horrible. We would trade half our healthy team and kill any chemistry we have.

dump macs contract... cooks as well... continue playing scola and ariza as starters and then trade at the deadline, thus keeping Landry's value lower slightly for next year when he's a starter and being resigned... also keep scola and ariza as powerful trade assets... in return... Chris Bosh and Iggy? Yeah, that sounds nice.... but usually too good to be true trades are too good to be true.

There's a 5% chance for this to happen.

nah...I think our priority right now is to get rid of Tmac for someone who can contribute.

Maybe 1, but highly unlikely both of them.

The only thing I want in a new thread is breaking news of an actual trade or maybe an article on a fresh rumor that hasn't been run down in 6 other threads.

I voted no, but hoping it happens. I'll tattoo the Rockets logo on my arm if we get both. ;)

I said no, but it would be wonderful if the Rockets could keep Yao, Lowry, Ariza, Landry, and Budinger. Next year's team would be:

    Yao Dalembert
    Bosh Landry
    Ariza
    Iggy Budinger
    Lowry Conroy

I would love to take that team against the Lakers. Very weak on three point shooting, but that frontline would control the boards. Also, it would be difficult for other teams to stay out of foul trouble.

I voted Yes, but I wonder if we take in Dalembert & Iguodala's big contracts, would the Sixers be willing to Include Jrue Holiday in as part of the Deal, so if we were to give up brooks in the deal for Bosh, we could still have a solid young point come of the bench.... ;)

We might get one of the two, but both?

    Unlikely.

I do hope I'm very, very wrong. :)

Possibly Bosh but not Iguodala. The Sixers don't have to give their young star player away, while the Raptors may be forced to do so if Bosh decides to walk.

I think there is more of a chance to get a deal done with Detroit or Washington - two teams going nowhere with veteran stars. Maybe Dumars has soured on Hamilton and Prince and want McGrady's expiring. And I get the feeling Caron Butler will be available.
