I've been reading some stuff about the cost of the repairing the Superdome.... do stadiums not buy insurance that covers hurricanes?
Well I've been looking for my own answer... based on this it sounds like they had 500 million dollar insurance, but it covered more than one state facility. Thus, with many being damaged that wouldn't cover everything? At least that it was it sounds like...http://www.nola.com/weblogs/print.ssf?/mtlogs/nola_tporleans/archives/print084314.html
I meant to add that i should say that sounds reasonble. I was just curious if stadiums had it or if it was so insanely expensive that it woudn't be worth it..
they have to have insurance to get the loans to get these things built. but what good is insurance when they won't pay?
