Do people who book sporting even halftime shows not understand their target audience?

    So, I'm watching the NBA Finals, Game 1.

    Lisa Marie Presley? Huh? Who's idea was this.

    Unless its some devious scheme to chase the people who'll spend the most money on concessions and souveneirs out of their seats and into the concourse, I don't understand this choice.

    Who decided that this chick has anything going for her besides her last name? Who bribed VH1 and MTV to hype her contrived "album"?
    She's not even HOT!

    I don't like ABC's NBA theme song compared to NBC's. NBC's song pumped me up to watch the game more. Whereas the ABC song is just dull.

    Madonna has like 3 times the CD's that Mariah has.

    And I sure as hell know a lot more Madonna songs than Mariah songs.

    I am pretty sure Madonna has the most Album sales worldwide for a female artist of all time. Whitney Houston has the most if you count singles. Mariah had the most in the '90s. I don't know where to find the exact numbers though.

    The # of CDs you have doesn't really matter, it matters how well the albums you do have sell. Look at Garth Brooks, in the matter of about 10 years, he became the biggest selling solo act in the history of the U.S. He's got like 30 million albums on Elvis.
