My family knew not to bother me with paying bills and other crap when the Rockets are losing. And the best time for them to get any money from me is when the Rockets get a huge victory. Non of my friends are Rockets fan so they keep trash talking to me

A lot of my friends and family aren't basketball fans at all, or are college basketball fans only. I don't often wear sports clothes other than to games. So while they know that I go to a lot of games, they don't know that I watch almost every game and discuss it on an internet message board.
Don't worry! If you hate the Mavs, you are accepted here. As for yours truly, yes I wear my T-Mac jersey with pride and my Rox cap. Yes, I love my Rockets and in addition to hating the Mavs to infinity, I hate the Jac-Azz to infinity squared for 97 conference finals! Go kick some Jac-Azz tonight, Rockets! Let's go baby! Whoo hoo!
Yep... they're all fully aware of it. Everyone from family to friends to coworkers. Have been for years and years (well not as long for coworkers since I've only been in the nation's workforce for a little over a year). I have memoribilia on display everywhere, I wear some Rockets shirts here and there, and it comes up in conversation fairly often.
We have a tv at work, and when we are working late and a game is on, I insist EVERY time that we put on the Rockets.
Some of us bleed privately. Others smear their blood all over the furniture and on other people if they are close by.
Actually yes. My best friend is a fan of Kobe Bryant and Lakers, second best friend is huge San Antonio fan but I got to say we're not friends when teams are playing against each other. No no, not at all. That's the time when they're not friends, rather enemies and I love when Lakers lose, oh it feels good then same as the Spurs. Family? Yes, they know I love basketball and Rockets so they kinda got used to it.

seriously not even funny for me everyone knows to back off of me at work after a rockets loss or if i am leaving early from work to go watch the rockets game no one gets in my way to bug me for stuff the moment i say "rockets game" in fact I unfortunately didnt have mlk jr day of (travesty I keep telling my boss that all around the country everyone was honoring Hakeem Olajuwon's birthday except for us) and so around 230pm (i live out in LA) some of the part timers came into my office and were like so didnt you hear the rockets won today? oh you didnt see the game yet did we ruin it for you? I look at them and was like WTF you guys on I went home 2 hours ago watched the game and then came back to work...nice try. they got all pissed heck I bought rocket polo and dress shirts just so I can wear them at work and to business meetings
everyone around me knows my craze for Rockets and some of my family member always tell me that What will the team give you when they win games or championship? it always makes me mad! but I have a simple response for them... Why do people get married or live together??? ...I think you get the point. ps. I also bribe my students with awards if they watch the rockets games as much as they can!! I keep a log too.
