I've never noticed an NBA player with hair on his arms, or hair on his chest, or back or shoulders for that matter. Are they shaving the hair off their arms? I can understand that you wouldn't want tufts of chest air peeking out of your jersey, but shave the arms too? Are they just trying to show off their tats? I started thinking about this when I tried on a jersey with no undershirt, and noticed the hair on my arms, chest, shoulders, etc peeking out.. All the NBA players can't be less hirsute than I, right? Are they all shaving regularly? Just an idle curiosity. (I'm shaving my shoulders ... I'm getting it all shaved off)
Yeah, I've heard that a lot of players shave their pits, etc. ------------------ Ceo of the Walt Williams fan club. Web site coming soon atheistalliance.org
I don't know, but I swear Chris Mullin had such a hairy chest he could get a perm on it. Not to mention maybe you're viewing them from a distance. It's hard to see hair on the arms from that distance. Who knows. Maybe they all get electrolysis. Yeah, that sounds plausible. ------------------ "No Brain Grant, no trade." -- Typos are a b**** as ZRB is holding Rocket trades hostage while he seeks a brain. Not to mention maybe you're viewing them from a distance. I spent last night squinting at all the close-ups from all the League Pass games. Not an arm hair in sight. Aren't you guys gonna make more fun of me for bringing this up?
surely Vlade Divac has some arm hair or shoulder hair or even some back hair to show the fans of the NBA ------------------ CUT Tino These Heaves are just getting Ridiculous!
compare it to baseball. Can you imagine Steve Garvey and his popeye forearms on an NBA court? You would definitely think Garvey looked weird out there. jammie just might be right here. I'm sure everyone can think of a friend with forearm hair, or shoulder hair, or chest hair, or ... or ... or hair on their inner thighs ..... . . . . . wha', wha', did I drift off. <ahem> jammie, are you picking me up for the game, tonight?<font color="f7f7f7"> [This message has been edited by heypartner (edited January 30, 2001).]
I could have happily lived my entire life without anyone bringing this subject up to me. ------------------
Well maybe maybe not in the NBA, but here in the NBL in Australia, hair is legal, check out Rubert Sapwell a member of my home town Adelaide 36ers ------------------ CUT Tino These Heaves are just getting Ridiculous!
To this day, I've always wondered if the WNBA players shave OR pluck the hairs off their nipples? [This message has been edited by ChenZhen (edited January 30, 2001).]
