Do I have the right to root for UH (T-shirt fan BS)

    Anyway I was talking **** to my friend who is a Red Raider during the game last night and she called me a bandwagoner T-shirt fan (never heard of a UH t-shirt fan). We got into an argument with her saying you can only root for Texas since you go there and can't talk **** for other schools...( :confused: ).

    Well my argument is I was born and freaking raised in Houston, my dad is one of the deans at the University and has been working there since before I was even born, one of my best friends go there, and not to mention I was accepted there also (don't know if this counts for anything).

    I'll admit I didn't care much for UH when they sucked but I am actually legitimately excited for them, probably even more so than my Longhorns. Plus I have attended a few games and own a couple T-shirts with my dad working there and all.

    Anyway I'm going to chalk this up to her a being pissed off Red Raider who is just upset that she has to use this every morning.

    Im not going to UH but I was damn excited when they beat Tech. Doesnt matter if im not going to UH. Its Univeristy of Houston. Im from Houston. Its ALWAYS good to see the home team win.

    oh wow how did I miss that thread lol.....

    On second look, that thread started/ended the days before my biology exam so I wasn't on clutchfans too much then.

    There's a ton of frontrunners out there... I guess you have to start somewhere in your fandom... but its discouraging to see people shift allegiances with the wind so much.

    I never went to UH, but dammit I'm from Houston, and I'm stoked that UH is doing so damn well.

    I maintain that you can root for them until you're blue in the face, but you don't have the right to talk trash or rub it in to someone who actually attended the other school. That's only reserved people who attended or maybe worked at UH, no matter how many connections you may have to the school.
