About a month ago, we noticed our 4 month old baby boy had cuts on the bag of his legs. We didn't think much of it, as his nails were getting really sharp and he had already scratched his face a couple times. The cuts kept getting worse, actually drawing blood. When you look at these cuts, they don't look like the ones on his face, they resemble the cuts that would be created by pressing your shaving razor against your face, it is very straight, precise cuts. One day we realized that we've NEVER seen him be able to stretch his arm and reach the back of his leg, and besides, he spends half of his day in his swaddle blanket... BINGO! I pull out his swaddle blanket, and reach inside the sack that holds his legs and I find the tag with all the information needed for washing it. The tag itself is soft, but on the sides of the tag it is somewhat branded together and it creates a very rough edge, which can cut my hand, much easier cutting a babies delicate skin. Alot of the cuts have heeled, but a few scars remain. I was unable to get clear PICTURES due to focus issues, but I did take a video of the cuts and the tag and see if you can make out the scars on his leg and the rough edges of the tag. Now mind you this tag is INSIDE the sack part and no where on the packaging does it say to remove the tag, I mean why would you because it holds the directions for cleaning it? Do I have a legit case for a lawsuit?

No, but I have a baby roach in an unopened twinkie. too bad the sucker hasnt come out of the cream filling so I can record it
Dude check this out!! Turns out toothpicks have sharp edges and if you shove one in your eye you'll probably lose the sucker!! I think I have a legit case.
This again. It's up to parents to make sure their infants aren't subjected to materials that can hurt them.
I also agree with this. ^ That, and let the company know what it did to your baby so that they make either better tags, or none at all. Don't expect too much from them, but maybe only your money back from the one you have. What can you sue for? Exposure?
No, actually lawsuit was third. 1. Aliens probes 2. Government subverting the swaddle for "population control" 3. Lawsuit.

Well as popular as swaddling is nowadays, if its happening to my baby Im sure it's happening elsewhere. Who thinks to feel the side of the information tag? It's a sharp tag, too sharp for a babies skin and of all places, it's basically touching the babies leg the entire time the baby is in it. A lawsuit wasn't the first thing that came to my mind, but it is a way of compensation. After all, I could save them alot of money in future lawsuits.
