Did anyone here go to the shows? I went on Saturday and sat in HH 6. GREAT SHOW. And I just returned from tonight/last night's show. I went with RM95, and he got the hookup for seats in ROW F!!! You are <i>the man</i>!!! We were in the fifth row from the stage on the left side (there's no row A) outside of the pit. AWESOME seats, AWESOME show. I even saw one of my students. The GREAT tickets I got from RiceRocket1 were used by 2 of my friends. They *Loved* those seats -- thanks John!! The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is a wonderful venue. VERY professional, VERY well-organized. Plenty of parking without too long of a walk. Nice people working there. Traffic moved quickly, it was cool under the covering, and the acoustics were great for an outdoor theater!! Comfortable seats, even though I didn't sit the first day, and only sat for the opener today/last night. Anyone else go?
You have students? Dude you are like 2 years older than me I think, how did that happen? By the way, no I didn't go, but damn I gotta catch them live at least once in my life.
Mark- Glad you had such a good time and those tickets could be put to good use. I'm still disappointed I didn't get to go, everyone I've talked to loved the shows. I am just way too busy trying to get through with my finals and other end of the year stuff. I had a great time in San Antonio the other night when I was able to go though. The band seems really excited and happy to be playing this tour.
went last night...amazing show!!! I was soooo tired at a hearing before the court this morning...thought about telling the judge I was too tired to proceed because Dave rocked...but then I thought, maybe not.
any chance you could find a live recording of last night's show??? where do you find those kinds of things???
In about two weeks it'll be ready for distro, and I'll do some trading for it. I'll post when I'm able to acquire the two shows. It shouldn't be hard to get a copy, it's just WHICH copy is the best. I counted at least 8 tapers there, each with GREAT equipment. I want to see if I can get the one that was RIGHT behind RM95 and me, as it'll likely have recorded our "Spotlight!!" yell, and other yells. I've got somewhere around 50 DMB shows . . . maybe more, maybe less. A good 230 CDs at least. That is about 5 months old though -- I have a new one I'm putting up tonight. If you want to do a B+P or something, let me know.
