thats just the point. People now are thinking that maybe they weren't commercial airline planes. That the government may have known about this before hand. A jet was being built with missle launchers, and it was planned to substitute the place of the commercial planes.

Apparently, you made no effort to verify this very convincing email rumor by doing any research whatsoever. You continue the post by adding brilliant observations such as ... You get suckered into one of the oldest tricks in the book by believing a company will pay you $2 for each envelope you stuff stating "It sounds VERY convincing"
What would a missle do? The plane itself was a missle, carrying so much jet fuel to be far more destructive than a missle.

Neither one of you are too far off. Read about the Pearl Harbor conspiracy if you want to find some intriguing parallels to 9/11. In a nutshell: FDR wanted to draw Germany into the war, but knew that they wouldn't join if the US appeared unbeatable. He also knew that if he put on a weak front in Hawaii, the Japanese would be lured into attacking. The theory is that he purposely stationed old, expendable battleships, and thousands of troops in Hawaii to be attacked by the Japanese so that Germany would think we were weak and/or beatable and enter the war. They've written lots of books on it. Parallels to 9/11: Bush wants his war on "Terror" (read: Iraq), but knows that the people will not let him just barge into a nation and take it over without some justification. So he purposely ignores the warnings from the outgoing Clinton administration and allows the towers to be attacked. His 7 minutes of silence in that Florida classroom has always rubbed me the wrong way, and it really does start to seem that he knew that the attacks were coming. And there are documents that showed that he was planning the war in Iraq before he was even in office. The general trend is to discount all conspiracy theories as the brainchildren of wackos, but if you honestly think that this government, with all of its resources, is not capable or guilty of cooking up a few conspiracies, then you're very wrong.
