Taylor is not actually the power forward that we expected to be with the rox, his numbers is down his rebounding skills is bad, defending someone taller or lighter than he is, is absolutely downgrading. Did Rudy made another bad decision here? I really wish we kept Kenny to the remaining of the season and trade Morris Taylor before next season begins.

If you were able to see Taylor play before his injury, then you would probably agree with me that his current performance, which is poor, relates to his health. The agonizing question now is whether or not his injury last year was, essentially, career ending. If so, that is a serious problem for the Rockets, financially and otherwise. Hopefully he can fully recover.

Well, SOME of his poor performance can be attributed to last year's injury. Remember, he was never known as a good rebounder.

Still, I look to see Mo Taylor turn it around as the season progresses.

It's hard to have sympathy for a guy who let his weight balloon to 300 plus while still under a new long term contract. If he was truly motivated he could have kept mostly fit and in shape. Most of us would die for that kind of money.

QUESTION: How much time do you give MoT to get back to form before u call it a wash?

OBVIOUSLY MORE TIME THAN ONE GIVES KT TO DEVELOPE.

Mo T is definitely laboring on the heel. You can see when he tries to go inside with a defender, he gets blocked because he has no explosion. I think this should go away with time, but this does not explain his poor shooting %. He is usually nails from 15-18 feet and we rarely can get him going. I think everything coming together is important and between coming back from injuries like an achilles heel and not playing for almost 2 years (500+ days) has hurt him. I suspect if his game is no hitting the cylinders by February-March, we could be in trouble. we really need his 12-15 pts off the bench now more than ever. In the interim, I would move him to the starting role for 5-8 games and see how he performs. maybe he is just better suited for starting the game. This may take some heat off Eddie too....but defnitely allow him the time to get acclimated with starting....

Speaking of the devil! He just dumped 18 points and we've won against weary wolves. That's the kind of game we need from taylor, 12 to 18 points a game from Mo T and we can all rest assure it's going to be a win!
