Tmac is my favourite player and i can't stand all the crap that is coming from this board. Talk of him faking and screwing the rockets over, man it makes me sick. The guy put up to two triple double on one leg this year. People saying that he is done? are you kidding me? Amare Stroudimire and D-Wade both have hade this surgery and look at the results. He will be back.
Your favorite player is done. As far as people "disrespecting a TMAC," you should expect stuff like that in an online basketball forum. If you don't like it, surround yourself with others that "respect a TMAC." You can't change the nature of this forum.
i'm not trying to change the nature of the board but most people in this are happy he is down? imagine if when had him as healthy as last season?

I loved him in 04-05 and the portions of the season he was healthy in 05-06. Major decline after that though tbh.
This was supposed to be our biggest season in about 15 years. The Artest trade was suppose to complement T-Pain and put us over the top. T-Pian took that away from us, plus it is his fault his knee isn't right since he sat and did nothing during the offseason. I really don't see why we should feel sorry.
Instead of talking about how fans disrespect Tracy, we should talk about how Tracy disrespects the fans !!! Even when Tracy is healthy he has never, and I mean NEVER, played up to his full potential, which is disrespectful to the fans who pay money to see him / watch him / adore him. He has recently said that in Toronto he was a shot blocker / rebounder and when he want to Orlando they asked him to score. In Tracy's mind he cannot do both at the same time, it's either one or the other and that's a terrible mentality for an athlete. He could've been named among MJ, Kobe, Magic if he wanted to, instead (combined with injuries) he took the easy road. So never playing up to full potential is definetly disrespectful to the fans. He has also never showed any gratitude for the Rockets' organisation nor the city of Houston. The guy is all about stats, whether it's points / assists / rebounds, and the fact he passes a ball instead of scoring does not automatically mean he's unselfish. Just look at his playoff stats, why are they exceptionally high and all of a sudden he can block shots, get more rebounds and overall play better defense ? That's because he wants his stats to be good, which is convenient when you lose a series to say you've done all you could do. Of course he wants to get out of the first round and just play good, but why not play like that the whole year ? In sports, fans can be very cruel and unfair to a team / players / coach whatever but in this case the fans have every reason to react the way they do and you get what you deserve. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth so Tracy should face the truth and accept the criticism because it is justified.
Get a new favorite player, problem solved. Notice how Yao, Battier, Rafer, Artest all got surgery recently, all dealing with injuries and beat up bodies. Yet, none of them is surrounded by this soap opera. This is NOT NORMAL. McGrady is handling this whole thing in line with his character ... flaky.
You have to earn respect, Tracy and his antics have written too many checks, and his respect bank has been foreclosed on, he needs a bailout. DD
