there are better more prominent youtubers that also talk about this, but in only 15-20 mins.

marvel movies/shows have stopped being exciting a while ago. best to scrape phase 4 and reboot the whole thing so they can have full liberty on their woke stuff and women empowerment

They paid lots of money for marvel so they need to make it back or risk angry shareholders , lots of people have watched their Disney stock go down the drain

remember they got the rights to X-men and Deadpool and still haven’t released those characters in movies
The Dr Strange was some crap cameo one off
    Other dimension thing

and they completely messed up blade
    @Xerobull
That whole movie is in danger

Hope Marvel & DCU tank hard soon and we'll get back to get more quality movies, instead of just graphically beautiful hero garbage, because that it was Marvel & DC is for the most part.

This was the whole reason they brought back good Bob. Bad Bob was pumping out mediocre MCU content to pump Disney+.

Phase 1-3 had 23 movies over 11 years.
    Phase 4 had 19 shows/movies over 2 years.

It severely hurt the brand because the quality wasn’t there.

Is there a TLDR for people who have careers and families and don't watch very long YouTube videos?

    not watching all that

Disney+ Marvel shows is what started the dip

Why are they oversaturating the market?

I got burnt out…still haven’t seen Eternals or the last Thor movie

    Shang Chi? Meh

    That Black Widow movie? Meh

would never watch either of those again

    gimme some Kang

there seems to be this laughable and nonsensical notion that Marvel and superhero movies in general are bringing down the overall quality of the film industry…

    Wtf?

Marvel isn’t stopping someone from writing a good script or a studio from putting out a quality film

but nah, let’s just do another lazy low quality remake of something no one was asking for

let’s make a meh animated film…let’s make a trash comedy like the one with Mark Wahlberg and Kevin Hart

that last Halloween movie is probably gonna end up #1 on my list of worst movies this year…no wonder it went straight to Peacock…studio knew they had some bullsh*t on their hands, and they decided to just sh*t it out to the public

U know what will probably be #2? The Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie that came out.

    come up with something new

people aren’t even trying with some of these films, it’s a joke

some of these scripts seem like they were written by a 5 year old in crayon

It’s like any industry. Once something is successful, everyone else rushes to copy it. It gets watered down and oversold and demand goes down. Then the herd moves on to the next pasture.

    get woke, go broke

Also, Marvel movies are written by committee for global appeal and therfore have no soul and are not memorable or rewatchable (they try to bring in talented directors, but it doesn't matter).

Marvel Is Reportedly Refocusing on Quality Over Quantity for Phases 5 and 6
    BYANDRÉ JOSEPH
    PUBLISHED 4 DAYS AGO

Marvel Studios is reportedly 're-evaluating' its upcoming Phase 5 and 6 slate after heavy internal criticism about Phase 4's direction.

    The MCU's Behind-the-Scenes Troubles
Phases 5 and 6 have already seen some setbacks on the theatrical side this year. Spider-Man: No Way Home director Jon Watts dropped out of helming the Fantastic Four reboot and was replaced by WandaVisionshowrunner Matt Shakman. Additionally, Mahershala Ali's MCU debut in Blade was put on pause after original director Bassim Tariq left the project and script issues delayed the production. Lovecraft Country director Yann Demange took over from Tariq in November.

To me the exception to this is everything everywhere all at once. I know it was long, but I thought it was really original and held my attention. Now my teenage son said he had a headache after watching it lol

    as they should

they’ve been putting out way too much stuff

things I haven’t seen: What If, She-Hulk, Ms Marvel, Eternals, Thor: Love and Thunder

I couldn’t keep up, and some of these projects just did not interest me

seems like we’ve been focusing on side characters too…no disrespect to Shang-Chi, but he just reminded me of Netflix’s Iron Fist, but on the big screen…he gave me street level superhero vibes…like he should be fighting the local mob boss or something

Shang-Chi, the protector of Sugar Land
