Since they don't have ROOT, I presume these are the first Astro games you're seeing all year?

    I have Dish. Have FS1.

Don't live in Houston. I had to stream games throughout the year when I could. Just like I do Texans games. National TV games are a godsend.

It really is. The Hopper DVR system is solid (though garbage in comparison to the X1) but that channel selection is a joke. I may get "over 100 channels" yet half of them are shopping channels or televangelists.

Dish is a joke. No ROOT Sports so no Rockets or Astros. And now I understand they aren't showing KHOU, which in most cases means no Texans.

So glad I switched this year.

Switched from dish to direct tv to watch rocket games but it looks like they are being blacked out. I live 3 hours away from Houston and I do know Astro games show on root here but for some reason rocket games are blacked out. I was trying to save the $200 it cost for the NBA league pass so much for that :(

I will give xfinity kudos for that. The X1 is a very nice platform, when watching the Astros and the crappy FS1 broadcast where they never show the location of pitches, it came in good use with the split screen feature showing stats, locations etc. Pretty much like MLB gameday.

I also LOVE the "Smart" remote, with voice search etc....
